Providence, the Huffines Signature Community featuring Cape Cod- and Craftsman-style homes, is a spectacular community with a wide variety of incredible recreational features. Residents in Providence especially love the host of pocket parks that are part of Providence's extensive park system. Two of the favorites are the dog parks. This October marks the third annual Barktoberfest. Everyone is invited to visit with local veterinarians, groomers, pet-sitters, boarding kennels and much more! A Pet Costume Contest, Pet Tricks, vaccinations and other events take place. Residents and their pets enjoy food, festivities and fun for everyone. This is one of the most popular events held in Providence and one of the many year-round activities scheduled by the Homeowner's Association. Residents can now enjoy two exciting recreation areas. The new Harbor Recreation area is a second large complex with four pools - an adult pool with a deep end, a Jr. Olympic pool and two tot pools. Two additional large lakes and four tennis courts make it irresistible. There's even a putting green. Already the hallmark of the community, the one-of-a-kind waterpark offers fun for all ages. The three-story clubhouse is complete with a multi-level exercise facility, saunas, a weight room, and locker and shower facilities. Fall fishing is a popular activity with several small stocked lakes and the new 25-acre Lake Providence. Homes from Choice Homes, DR Horton Homes and Vision Homes are priced from the $120s. Providence is located just north of Frisco in Denton County on SH 380 at Providence Blvd., approximately 9 miles west of the Dallas North Tollway extension and 10 miles east of I-35.
