Creative Homes broke ground May 11, 2007 on their new neighborhood located in Midlothian, Texas. Mrs. Simmons then proceeded to take those in attendance back in time when life was a little less complicated. She spoke of "when kids would play outside for hours on end." She reminded them of how "we would play cowboys and Indians until the distinct voice of our mother called us in for dinner. After the dishes were washed and put away, with mom and dad sitting on the front porch, we were given a mason jar and sent off to catch fireflies. This is the dream for Texanna Ranch," Mrs. Simmons proclaimed. As you near Texanna Ranch, you will notice the large stone bell tower at the entrance which will be landscaped with plants native to this region and will include a beautiful water feature.
