MAITLAND, Fla. - Ashton Woods Homes has promoted Lance Gilmet to sales and marketing manager in the Orlando region. John Reny, president of Ashton Woods Homes Orlando division based in Maitland, said Gilmet is a recent graduate of Ashton Woods' two-and-a-half year Emerging Leaders Executive Development program.
Gilmet is a rising star at Ashton Woods in Orlando, Reny said. He joined Ashton Woods Homes in 2005 to enter the firm's Emerging Leaders course, and still has a year to go to complete the program, Reny said. Gilmet attended MIT in Boston and earned his MBA Degree from Wake Forest University.
"Lance Gilmet is a bright young executive with mature skills and an energetic approach to innovation and achievement," Reny said. "We expect him to play an important role in our expansion here in the Orlando region, and he is certainly a testament to our Emerging Leadership Executive Development program," Reny said. Reny also promoted Greg Bryant to land development manager. Bryant joined Ashton Woods Homes 19 months ago as an estimator.
